SHITS HAPPEN!: Lost an important part to the FATUM Unit of my IJ!

As I finished sanding the last few parts of the FATUM/Backpack of my IJ this afternoon, I noticed that I am missing something...below is a scan of a manual from DALONG.NET, I encircled the part that is missing..

I was about to panic because I wanted to finished working on the backpack before the year ends. BUT! Instead of panicking at my room like hell, I decided to think of a way to somehow IMPROVISE the missing part. I then decided to use an old/unused PC/Polycap from my SF kit..and here it is..

I then cut the upper part using my hobby knife, and shaved it to fit in the wings at the backpack, glued it afterwards using a super glue (Mighty Bond)..

Test fitted it, and it perfectly fits! yay! :3

Lesson learned! If you happen to lost a part on your kit, don't panic yet, instead..think of a way on how to somehow "improvise" that missing part! ;)..till then! :)

I'm already done painting the whole frame and some of the armor parts of my SF, and if you'll ask me right now..I think I can finish this guy by this week. The only problem that's stopping me on finishing this guy is the Flat White that's not available here in my place. YES, it's NOT available..I already looked/asked EVERY HARDWARE here @ Castillejos Zambales, and at Olongapo! which pisses me off <_<..anyway, here's my progress so far.. Till my next post! :D

MG Blitz Gundam Ver. Amuro

Hello! My long gunpla break is over. And yes, finally done working with this guy! This kit also marks my return in Gunpla after going on a hiatus for almost a year and a half (moved to playing airsoft) . Photo(s) we're taken by " Modus " (of ModPink Design Studios), a very close friend of mine (He's like my brother from another mother hehe). Everything we're hand-painted using Tamiya Acrylics. And I swear, this will also be the last time I'll handpaint using Tamiya paints. I will be switching over to either Citadel and/or Vallejo paints. Tamiya paints gave me a headache. Seriously, I have to strip and paint most of the parts OVER AND OVER AGAIN just to make it right. Weathered the kit because I plan on making or putting it on a diorama.
